Enable TCP/IP

You can turn printing over TCP/IP on or off. When TCP/IP printing is on, the print server can send print jobs to any printer connected to the network over TCP/IP. When it is off, the print server cannot receive or send print jobs over TCP/IP, even if a specific print queue is set up for TCP/IP printing.

Note: To print to a printer over TCP/IP, you must set up the printer using the Desktop Printer Utility (DPU). For more information on using the Desktop Printer Utility, see Mac Help (available in the Help menu on computers with Mac OS 9 installed). In the Mac Help window, type "Desktop Printer Utility" in the Search field.

Default Queue

If you enable TCP/IP printing, you can choose a default queue for the TCP/IP print jobs, or you can let the user always select a queue. You need to create at least one queue before you can select a default queue.
